MINISONIC 600 and MINISONIC 2000 are the most up to date ultrasonic flowmeters available for the measurement of flows in closed pipes.
SYSTEMS AVAILABLE EX STOCK FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY
Using the latest "DSP" techniques and new probe technologies the MINISONIC will work where others fail!
The standard meter spec includes:
- a display of the flowrate and volume, direction and flow velocity
- two 4-20 mA outputs, 2 relays, serial link, and software for PC
New technology building on over 30 years of experience gives the user numerous features including:
- new measurement technology 'ESC' (or Echo Shape Control)
- measurement resolution <0.1 ns
- higher amplification gain range and noise rejection
- ergonomic keypad and menu calibration, backlight display
Typical Applications:
- pipe diameter versions from : 8mm up to 3300mm (MINISONIC 600 up to 600 mm and beyond for MINISONIC 2000)
- virtually all liquids whether they are conductive or pure, including ultra pure water
- measurement of clean water, drinking water, waste water, oil products, chemicals
- "difficult" applications including entrained solids, encrusted pipe work and foodstuffs.

Typical encrusted pipework application
Benefits:
- Uses clamp on probes (without any contact with the liquid) : easy installation on a pipe without shutdown or interruption of flow
- Can also use intrusive probes (mainly for gas flows): the installation can be hot tapped
- Flow reading accuracy with common liquids (water, .) :
- DN <= 100 mm : +/- 2 % if v > 0,3 m/s else +/- 5 mm/s
- DN > 100 mm : +/- 1 % if v > 0,3 m/s else +/- 2 mm/s
- Cost independent of pipe size
- No pressure drop
- No moving parts
- No servicing (no recalibration)
- Bidirectional measurements
- Fast response time
The MINISONIC can be used to measure ultra low flows (a few l/h) using our range of special spool pieces.
