Dual Chord

The MINISONIC 600-2 and MINISONIC 2000-2 systems allow 2 chords to be measured on the same pipe, giving improved accuracy even in poor flow conditions.

There are two possible configurations:

• Two parallel and symmetrical chords with intrusive or wetted probes aligned in pairs
• Two cross-path diametrical planes with clamp on external probes

Dual Pipe

The dual pipe versions MINISONIC 600-B and 2000-B offer a cost effective high performance ultrasonic flow measurement solution allowing two pipes to be monitored using a single control unit.

Another configuration for the dual pipe versions is to install the two set of transducers close to each other on the same pipe to provide redundancy, or at two different locations to perform a line balance or burst pipe detection.

In both cases (MINISONIC-2) and (MINISONIC-B), it is also possible to use one channel and keep the other for a separate installation.
