Mass-Stream Mass Flow Meter

The MASS-STREAM® - product series consists of highly reliable and robust mass flow meters and controllers for gases.

The compact design allows the installation in virtually every mounting position and our well-planned modular construction principle ensures an attractive price-performance-ratio. The instruments can be used in a variety of different applications where gas flows require measurement and control, for example in industrial applications, pharmaceutical industries or laboratory equipment.

The instruments are applicable for almost every kind of gas or gas mixtures and all models are available with analogue or digital pc-boards. Dependent on the flow rate we offer two different model series:

• The model series D-62xx, where the through-flow measurement principle is applied (which is also called inline-sensor measurement) typically work within measurement ranges of 10 ln/min air (full scale range) up to 6,000 ln/min air (full scale range).
• The model series D-51xx, where the bypass-measurement principle is applied, is used for smaller measurement ranges of 0.1 ln/min air (scale range) up to 50 ln/min air (scale range).

All our MASS-STREAM® - mass flow meters and controllers work without any moving parts in the metering chamber with relatively small pressure losses. As they apply the mass flow principle, it is unnecessary to compensate for variations in the working conditions like pressure or temperature. This is in contrast, for example, to piston prover measuring instruments that operate with a volumetric measuring principle where any alteration in pressure or temperature may cause measuring faults.
